brief: to design a website for a local hair salon with a highly creative and fashion forward focus. The site needs to link to all relevant social media and include a blog for showcasing films that document the photo shoots for major collections and expos.
solution: lumino designed the site using black as a backdrop for the stunning photography of their latest collections. The fruition blue was used to visually divide the site and house the content and thumbnails for the look book. The fruition graphic appears to spill off the edge of the page to reinforce their ‘outside the box’ approach to hairdressing.
brief: to re-design the Cement Australia website to coincide with launching their new range of cement packaging.
solution: the use of strong feature colours within the corporate website and two microsites reinforces brand recognition and corresponds with the bold colour use on their new packaged products range. lumino delivered a complete set of HTML templates and worked closely with Cement Australia’s IT department to build the websites in-house. lumino also wrote all the content for the websites, expressing the company values and key messaging. The result is a website that communicates directly with the target audience and strengthens the Cement Australia brand.
brief: to develop a range of sophisticated presentation materials (printed and online) for launch at an international trade show in Italy.
solution: lumino coordinated and art-directed a photo shoot at Space Furniture in Brisbane to showcase the product in a prestige setting. These images had to be suitable for use across all collateral and multiple languages incorporated. The website design is sleek and minimal to showcase the product and represent the brand positioning.
brief: to design stage one of the essence website, to drive sales and reflect the advertising campaign we developed for the project.
solution: lumino developed a simple, striking design that highlights the key message of ‘the essence of a great investment’. lumino art directed all hero images and wrote the copy for the campaign that are used throughout the printed and online sales materials. The result is an appealing site that engages the viewer and prompts an emotional response to the ‘essence’ of beach holidays.
brief: to develop the website for a new mail house, to help them stand out from the crowd and represent the rather ‘tongue-in-cheek’ name ‘Stand & Deliver’.
solution: lumino developed the Stand & Deliver Mail brand and used the website to really bring this brand to life. Stock photography was used to fit the Western theme and each image was edited to include an element of the Stand & Deliver logo or accent of colour. Visual cues were introduced such as location names on the links page while making sure each image reflected the website menu. As a final touch, bullet holes were incorporated into the menu rollover with the sound of a gun shot being heard upon clicking. The result is a differentiated brand experience in a very crowded market.
brief: to refine an existing brand and develop a website that reflects the company’s commitment to precise and effective results through professional consulting in project development, strategy and implementation services.
solution: lumino adopted the symbolic sextant in the client’s existing logo, using a single professional black and white image on the homepage as a simple yet sophisticated metaphor for guidance and precision. The website content design and navigation reflects this precision driven approach to planning through strategy and investment, clearly displaying the wealth of relevant projects and information in a parred back, easy to digest style. Throughout the site, the type and branding elements are restricted to black, white and red, simultaneously reinforcing the brand, yet allowing the more detailed project information and images to speak for themselves.
brief: to develop an online brochure to represent the range of services available from whitehaven and express their broad capability and experience.
solution: lumino developed a simple and clean layout for the website that allowed for maximum expression of company values and key messages. The powerful images in the banner depict the capital cities that Whitehaven operate in while also conveying strength, security and trust. The corporate blue is featured throughout the site for key messages in within the photography to reinforce the brand.
brief: to create a smart online presence for a long established family run bathroom supplies business.
solution: using a grid design inspired by bathroom tiles, lumino created a website with a minimal feel that acts as an online brochure to showcase bathroom supplies’ quality brands and product range, and direct customers to visit their showroom.
